A Clean Conscience

We need To Think About How Great Our God Is.

We can have a clean conscience.

If we think we are having trouble with our conscience bothering us, we need to study this verse from the Bible: Hebrews 9:14. Here it is.

Hebrews 9:14 (NIV)

14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

God wants us to be able to serve Him, the living God, with a clear conscience.

All it takes is the blood of Christ.

Here it is if you will listen.

At the time we believed and were baptized for the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 2:38), we received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and in the process, God cleared our conscience. We may not realize he has, but if he can forgive us our sins, he can cleanse our conscience at the same time. We will still be able to remember our sins, but in our conscientiousness, God has cleaned it. Furthermore, we can trust God’s word because He has spoken it for us. Read again Hebrews 9:14.

As we serve God, our lives before others should show the joy of a clean conscience.
