A Cold and a Cough A cold and a cough He has, I see His medication he takes But I don’t see Relief. No, relief I do not see. A cough, a cold His medication he has. A cold, a cough His medication Touches not. This I do see. A cold and a cough What shall I do? Meds he has and Meds he takes But No relief do they bring This I can see. A cold and a cough Both very bad Meds, are you also bad That you touch not and Relief bring not? Surely, this I can see. A truly bad cough with a bad cold Does this warrant a hospital visit? The medication should soon “kick in” I hope for relief soon to bring. Yes, cough to calm while cold to wane When meds I see soon their work to do.
