I like to say “Come On.”
I like to say “Come On”
To my little cat as evening come on. He quickly obeys and heads to the other cats bowl. A couple of chews and a lick or two and he is through. Again I say “Come On” As I lead him to my room. He knows it is his too. A look around and he knows sleep comes soon. Again I say. “Come On” As I pat on my bed. He knows it is his too And comes for a pet or two I don’t say anything now. I know he need a stretch or two. After a yawn and a pet or two He needs the floor for his stretch or two. The “Come On’s” for the night are through. By a stretch or two, he shows how big he’s grown Laying comfortable on his back Now stretching full length and purring, “I’m growing.”

Cats can be great companions...and it is heart breaking when they leave us all too soon.
