It Could Be Different

IT’S A DREARY DAY

It’s a dreary day – inside –
But outside the sun is shining.
It’s a dreary day inside
Can anyone tell me why?

Outside, the sun is shining
Inside, it is not.
Through the windows I see the sun
Inside, shining it is not.

Can I make my own sunshine inside
While outside shining is the sun?
Outside shining is the sun
While inside it is not.

Inside I made the sun to shine
Through my heart, my mind and hands
My thoughts through God are set on good
And my hands follow them through.
