Life and Living Part Fifteen
I am going off target from what I had planned. Isn't this just like Life?
The day is different from what I thought it would be or was supposed to be.
Now, all I had planned will have to be done later if I get to it.
It sometimes doesn't take too much to get our thoughts turned into a spew of negatives.
I don't think we give God credit these days.
So many times, we will ask God to help us and even direct our days, and when he does, it upsets our apple cart with a tumble.
Why can't we learn to accept God's little side trips or these unforeseen excursions he takes us on?
Who is it that God wants us to meet?
What do these people need to hear?
Did you pray that you would help someone the night before?
Did someone ask God to send someone who could encourage them in their plight?
We know that today's plans are not what is happening, but do we see it as God’s plans taking place instead of ours?
Do we see the hurting person?
Do you see yourself as the one God has chosen to provide comfort and aid?
He is the God of all comfort, you know.
God is the one who brings aid to those in need.
Do you see your plans being put into shambles so you have become God's hand supplying the aid?
We will help when we open our eyes and our hearts.
Isn’t this what the Good Samaritan did?
Today, God chose you to be the Good Samaritan.
Don’t let God down by walking on the other side of the road.

That is the way I have chosen to live my life, seeing the need and helping in whatever way I can.
