Love

Love is the title and Love is the thought

LOVE

I sit here with the title
Of what I want to be
A poem that expresses 
What appears so plain to me. 


L - is for how I would be 
- Lost if it were not
For your ever presence 
In what you do for me.

O - is for Owing
You so much for giving 
Of yourself so much more 
Than you get in return.

V - is for Very
Faithful is your love
That you show 
Even when I've hurt you so.

E - is for Ever
And this is a long time
But I want to give you it 
By giving myself to you.

LOVE is the title 
To the poem I would like to write
 LOVE is the title
To the life I would like to live.
