Rose Bush Oh God, let the rose bush Our teacher be. Let us look at it and learning It teaches us your truth. Oh God, the rose bush Teaches us your truth. It’s blooms show us you love. May we ever love its blooms. Oh God, let the rose bush Be our teachers As the blooms soon fade So does our life. Oh God, as the rose petals soon fall to the earth So our bodies Soon will follow. But, Oh God, let’s go back. We are your rose and Slowly, it opens to all, We open for all to see and maybe smell. Oh God, the rose, the rose is our life. The rose is our life. We live our life For all to see, yes all can see. Oh God, we see your glory in the rose But what do you see in our life? Do you see God’s glory in us, God’s glory in our life? Oh God, age comes fast So little time to show our glory. Roses fade and we also. Oh God, do you see in us your glory? Oh God, before I go on I must go back If I am only a tiny rosebud Don’t let anyone cut me off. For then, Oh God, my Father I could not live For others to see Your Glory in me. What a beautiful poem. I love how you show us God’s love in this. He takes care of us at all times.
