Time For God
It seems that days are long
Days filled, busy with play.
Looking, listening and learning
Busy days with time to spare.
It seems that days are too full.
Duties calling, attention wanting.
Waiting, searching and doing
Busy youth with energy to spare.
It seems that days are shorter
Duties called, busy days filled.
Bustling here – there doing
Aging with no time to spare.
It seems the days are ending
Duties done but now where are you?
Couldn’t I have let you slip in?
Going? I have no time to spare.
