Are you using your God-given talent or gift yet?
God gives each person their share of talents or gifts. Have you discovered yours yet?
By his grace, God has given us different gifts or talents as the Bible parable speaks of them. We are to use them for the glory of God. I am not here to discuss what talent you have but to encourage you to use the talent the best you can. The only thing that would displease God is if we didn’t use our talent and just hide it.
God’s talents or gifts to us are not just to be used on other Christians. We can see this with the gifts of giving or teaching. We may be drawn to give to the needy poor in the community or to teach one who does not know Jesus yet. The following verse tells us this.
1 Peter 4:10: "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
Verse 11 gives samples of how we should use our gifts, if it speaking or serving. It should always be used for the good of others and not self-serving.
We may just write for the fun of it. Keep writing.
A talent or gift I feel God has given me is writing. I enjoy teaching with my writing and also entertaining with the poems and short stories I write. Many of these are posted on my dot-substack-dot com site.

Don’t just stop writing; keep writing.

God bless your efforts to use your talents.
Thank You.
Also, in the parables of Jesus, a talent could be money. To love God with our entire being as commanded, helps us remember that nothing that we have is ours to keep or hoard, but instead we are stewards and all that we receive is to be multiplied and then returned as an offering of gratitude to God. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
