Timeliness for blogs
April 23rd, 2015
I don't know if I believe it, but I must because it happened. A customer emailed me asking if I was still open since I had not written a blog for a long time. (At the time, I had a website selling rocks.) But I am happy they were reading my blog, even if I had not kept up with my writing. Besides knowing that people read my blog, it tells me they expect it to be updated.
Being up-to-date shows the company or activity is still "OPEN FOR BUSINESS." This action may not be critical if it is "just a blog," but if the blog shows the activeness of an organization, it is vital. Of course, I just said this, but repeating essential thoughts and ideas doesn't hurt.
We choose the activities we participate in day by day – actually moment by moment. Our choices determine what is accomplished. What I may accomplish may help me to succeed in some activities. Whether or not we are successful in some action may fall on our choices. If it does, we can't blame anyone except ourselves.
The question that should come to our mind is, "What choices caused me to fail?" (If I don't want to fail again.) I can proceed when I examine this question and find a proper and truthful answer to what choices caused me to fail. Only by moving after the question has been studied and evaluated can there be hope for success in the next round of endeavors. This action should have built-in steps as a person looks for improving hopefulness for a win in the next game.
God expects us to grow to be more Christlike. To be successful in this day-by-day task, we must examine our choices. Did we make the right choices? The Holy Spirit is given to each believer as they are baptized for the forgiveness of their sin. (Acts 2:38) The Holy Spirit is there to guide us, but we are still obligated to make the right choices. If I know it is correct, to be honest but choose to be dishonest, I will not grow as God wants me to. I can't blame it on God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit because I decided to be dishonest. I am not forced to be fraudulent. From this short illustration, it is evident that I must be aware of my choices because they determine my success.
Living our life for Jesus needs constant watchfulness of our choices.
I want to remain in God’s good graces.
