I remember you preaching in Auburn. I remember Mom and Dad going to Lincoln when you were so sick that first year of college. Do I remember the story correctly that some girls at Peru thought you were a freshman when you were a newly admitted upperclassman and the tripped you into the fountain as a hazing prank?
I remember you as my big brother who brought a big family into the family.
Life is full of transitions. But for those of us who believe, we look forward to and anticipate that final move to our forever home ... to never move again. Blessings to you in your next transition. May you find peace and joy in His presence, wherever you may be,
Larry, let me know when you figure out what to do to get rid of all the 'stuff' you don't need, and how to do it. I've been trying to do that for the last several years - posting stuff for sale, holding an 'estate' sale, giving stuff away, taking stuff to the dump - and feel like I haven't made much progress - still a long way to go; still have things I don't use any more. Most of my friends, like you, are in the same boat, so they don't want my stuff even for free because they're trying to get rid of their own stuff - LOL.
I didn't know you preached. And you probably didn't know that I went to the U of Nebraska in Lincoln - for 2 days, before I asked for my money back - it turned out that the classes I had signed up for seemed like repetitions of undergraduate work I'd already done back in upstate NY.
